Karl F. Gerber, musician and composer, presents for the first time an ensemble of seven of his controlled acoustic sound sculptures. "The outward appearance of my constructions follows the functional purpose, it alone determines their visual shape," says Gerber. The audience can experience the objects, their actuators, and sounds up close and from different perspectives.
Reinhard Mohr's photographs do not document the meaning or value of mechanics. Rather, he consciously focuses on their timeless, aesthetic structure. On that element of "poetry" that Gerber ultimately also sees inscribed in his sound sculptures.
