Exhibition: bis 29. Juli 2017
The two painters Mario Palli (born 1946 in Gorizia / Gorizia) and Ivan de Menis (born 1973 in Treviso) show in the upcoming exhibition their paintings in a dialogical installation.
Mario Palli studied at the Istituto Statale d'Arte in Gorizia in the 1960s and then at the Istituto Statale d'Arte in Venice, Ivan de Menis studied painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice, 30 years later in the 1990s.
The old tradition of the Italian fresco painting, which Mario Palli and Ivan de Menis skillfully lead into the present, resonate in both artistic positions. Both painters, with their abstract works, succeed in conveying to the observer the great power of painting, which has always been said to be dead.
