The show runs until March 27, 2021
The Munich-based illustrator Maria Ploskow creates icon-like worlds with pen and paper, but even more so with mouse and computer.
With her graphic works, but also with her animations and light installations, she opens up surprisingly poetic spaces.
In the exhibition, she will present her new series "Ceci n’est pas un cercle" from the last year 2020.
The artist Ulla Maibaum rounds off the exhibition with an installation of her watercolors and drawings. The sensitively crafted works on paper capture moods and give the viewer access to the artist's emotional world. A self-portrait shows her with a tribal tattoo on her face, in a self-reflective pose, exposing herself to the gaze of the beholder.
The exhibition is supported by the federal government's NEUSTART KULTUR program!
